Privacy

tl;dr:we keep what we need to run the product, plus privacy-respecting analytics. We don't sell your data, and we don't train third-party models on your conversations.

What we collect

Account info — your email (and name, if you set one), so you can sign in and we can reach you about your account.
Conversation logs — your messages and the AI responses, so we can score you, debug the model, and improve the practice characters. Stored against your account only.
Usage & analytics — we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the product is used: pages visited, device and rough region, and aggregate interaction patterns. Clarity also records anonymized session replays and heatmaps (clicks, scrolls, navigation) with text and input fields masked by default. These tools set their own cookies and may process data on our behalf in the US.
Payment metadata — when you buy a message pack, our payment processor (Paddle) records the transaction. We store the order reference and credits granted, never your full card details.

What we don't do

Sell your email or conversation logs to anyone.
Train third-party models on your messages.
Read your conversations for fun. We look at aggregate signals, not individual chats.

Where it lives

Account and usage data live in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite). Conversation transcripts are archived to Cloudflare R2. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record — they process your card and are the data controller for billing information. Product analytics run through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. We don't run advertising identifiers, and we don't sell any of it.

Your rights

You can delete your account, your email, and your conversation logs at any time from the settings page, or by contacting us through the support button. Deleting your account wipes your data from our databases and archived transcript storage.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and a localStorage flag so the cookie notice doesn't pester you on every visit. Our payment processor (Paddle) and our analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) set their own cookies to complete a purchase or measure usage. No advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share this data.

Children

rizzd is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we update this Privacy notice we'll bump the date below and notify users when the change is material.
